Our Journey Began with a Dream

Adventure Kingdom Australia was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create a place where childhood dreams come alive through safe, innovative, and educational entertainment. Founded in 2010 by childhood friends Rebecca Torres and Marcus Wellington, our park emerged from their shared passion for creating joy and wonder in young hearts.

What started as weekend visits to various theme parks around the world with their own children evolved into a comprehensive study of what makes children truly happy. Rebecca, with her background in early childhood education, and Marcus, an experienced engineer specializing in recreational facilities, combined their expertise to design Australia's most child-centric amusement park.

After five years of meticulous planning, community engagement, and sustainable construction practices, Adventure Kingdom opened its gates in 2015 on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. From day one, we've welcomed over 2 million visitors, creating countless memories for families from across Australia and international tourists alike.

Today, Adventure Kingdom stands as a testament to what can be achieved when passion meets purpose. Our 25-hectare wonderland features over 30 attractions, interactive learning zones, and themed areas that celebrate Australia's unique culture while providing world-class entertainment that meets international safety standards.

Marcus Wellington

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer

A mechanical engineer with expertise in recreational facility design, Marcus oversees all technical operations and innovation. His 15+ years experience ensures our attractions meet the highest international safety and entertainment standards.

Dr. Priya Nakamura

Head of Guest Experience

Dr. Nakamura brings her expertise in child psychology and hospitality management to ensure every family has an exceptional experience. She leads our guest services team and develops programs for children with special needs.
